Our Mission
Passion for Health
At Dr. Caroline Joseʼs practice, we are dedicated to understanding health. Our passion drives us to explore new ideas and share knowledge that can make a difference in peopleʼs lives.
By collaborating with patients, researchers, clinicians, and policy
makers from the Atlantic provinces, my current research seeks to
integrate the lived experience of patients into research to facilitate
the knowledge transfer into care. I lead a patient-oriented research
program on adults with neurodevelopmental conditions in Atlantic
Canada. I am also the Stream Lead of the Patient and Community
Education Stream of the Canadian Clinical Trial Training Platform
CANTRAIN, and Adjunct Professor at Université de Moncton (NB)
and Université de Sherbrooke (QC).
My research interests are varied but ultimately gravitate around
understanding the pathological mechanisms of multimorbidity in
specific population groups, notably in neurodivergents, in people
suffering from long COVID-19 and in cancer survivors.
I have also a strong interest in building innovative and multisectoral
knowledge mobilization strategies to make research knowledge
accessible, inclusive and responsible.
